Placements
Nanny placements can easily be conducted by phone, fax and computer. We can further explain our placement process when we speak with you.
Here is what we will need from you before we will begin the search process:
- A completed family application: $25.00 (non-refundable)
- A completed Agency - Family Contract (free)
Our placement fee is a flat rate of $1800.00 for all families. Your application fee is part of the placement fee. There is a 30-day guarantee period. It is explained in your contract.
We protect our nannies by insisting that they earn, at minimum, $375.00/per week before taxes. Families are also required to provide live-in nannies private rooms, private bathrooms, all meals and a car if necessary. Many families now offer nannies health insurance as well although we do not require this of our families.
We cap our placement numbers each month. Busy months are usually May through September and December through January. If you know that you are going to need a nanny following those months, we implore you to call us at least one month in advance. Otherwise, we may not be able to help you.
It is crucial to understand right from the beginning that nanny agency's are not fail-safe. We can help to eliminate some of the risks of hiring a nanny but remember that you cannot put a guarantee on a human being. Perfection is not a human quality although we all wish it were. In essence remember that a nanny's first priority is always the care of children. All other household tasks are incidental and quite frankly, not the concern of this agency.
Confidentiality
We never sell or reveal any information about your family to other agencies, families or solicitors. All family and nanny information is shredded as soon as your current contract with a nanny terminates. While this means that you will have to begin the process over each year, it also means that we are doing our part to safeguard your private information.
Our placement
Expect that there will be months on end that we opt to focus on training nannies rather than placing them. Remember that we are not like other agencies and while some of the "rules" will apply to us, we often choose to ignore the mainstream and do things our way. The result is returning families and high quality nannies. It may sound odd to you however, the fact is this:
